We are so happy to have The Aerialist Press sharing some of their best tips for the all-important Save the Date! Read on for their expert take on what to say, when to say it and a whole lot of other great tips!

Happy engagement season! Alexandra from Aerialist Press and Foiled Invitations here. Big thank you to the Couture Events ladies for having us guest post with them today.

As a bride, one of the most fun parts of the planning process is selecting the perfect paper goods to invite your nearest and dearest to celebrate with you on the big day! One of the not so fun parts? Understanding the nitty gritty of stationery etiquette to make sure you’re minding all your p’s and q’s and making great grandma Rose happy too. While your heart might not give a happy flutter thinking about the best wording for those lovely letterpress save the dates you’re head over heels for, ours does (we love all things etiquette, paper and design around here)! So created an easy guide and infographic to help couples decide what to include, what not to include and what wording best suits their wedding style. We also added in a few of our favorite tips and tricks about when to send, how to handle announcements for destination weddings and where to include your wedding website (never ever on the invitation!).

For some extra examples of great save the date wording, you can also visit the full post on The Aerialist Press blog. We hope this helps you cross off one more item on your wedding to do list so you have a little extra time for a late night ice cream and Pinterest fest (you know you want to).

Happy planning!
