The First EVER Confetti Conference, Day 2

Confetti Conference, Your Time to Shine

Discussing Social Media & Your Message

Day two of Confetti Conference was all about social media. Sending messages on social media is crucial for building a successful brand. It isn’t simply the visuals, the content you produce is what takes you farther. Represent your brand through the different personalities within it! Be real, be you.

We had various speakers come to tell us their marketing strategies and how they move to make changes with platforms like Instagram.

Inspiring Swag Bags!

Jessica Rice of Jessica Rice Photography gave us a look into her life behind the camera. To be able to share life’s best moments through incredible photographs is a true joy. Each photograph should have its own story. Your written content engages, but your visuals draw them in. So what are they going to see first?

Carnie Chung, a contracted social media consultant, spoke on lighting up your social media with personality and engagement that is meaningful. Taking the time to understand who your audience is will give you a look into what people see in your brand. Root your content in trust and loyalty.

The ladies of Jumper Media came to talk about content strategies for marketing. Rather than placing all the focus on your business, you want to focus on your audience. Step up your social media marketing game to a whole new level with Jumper Media.

Cecelia Church, owner of Vocabulary Boutique, had us write down who inspires us, what we think of when it comes to business, and who we want to be. It was an opportunity to air out our misconceptions about who we are and reminded us of what we’re passionate about. The values that we started with feed into our brands.

Rebecca Brown, founder of Office of Awesome, loves giving life back into businesses with fresh marketing approaches. She zoned in on the fact that relationships come first. There’s no better brighter future than relationships with clients that last forever.

The First EVER Confetti Conference, Day 1

Confetti Conference, Allow Your Gifts to Shine

The first Confetti Conference of the year, held by Confetti Academy, had us grounded in our dreams. The creative juices are still flowing months after the workshops that organized our thoughts and goals. We were even more excited by the opportunity to connect with businesswomen who were reaching for the stars, just as we continue to do. The Confetti Conference gave us every reason to celebrate, see the details below!

The Confetti Conference was a hub of creativity, challenging the ladies there with what their vision was for their businesses and their personal lives.

They key is finding people who will push you to grow!

Sara France of France Photographers, an all female photography team, has one of the most beautiful relationships with her co-workers. They all have the same eye for photography – editorial, fun, and dynamic. We had the pleasure of learning about what it means to build your tribe with her and her team.

Laurie Nicoud, creative director from The Creative Clique, has been a graphic designer for over 10 years and helps businesses grow their brands. Branding is more than the look of your company, it represents what your business does and what you want to accomplish. What we love about Laurie is her love for community over competition.

Keynote for the day was the inspiring Laura Johnson, owner of You & Yours Distillery Co. She gave us insight on what it was like starting her business, involving investors, and what her work looks like now that its up and running. Three years of planning allowed Laura to build a gorgeous distillery, tasting room and event space. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, she has spirits distilled to perfection.

The woman behind the magic of Confetti Conference, is the one and only Krystel Tien, owner of Couture Events and Confetti Academy. She spoke about what it looks like to set goals, keep and achieve them. Building a business alone is a trial to overcome, but being disciplined to challenge yourself daily to understand where your company is going and who you’re engaging with is what we found to be common amongst these boss babes.

This is only a glimpse through the window of what the Confetti Conference hopes to achieve. Be inspired to learn, to grow, and to find people who will continue to create something you truly love. We never stop to reach higher… and neither should you.

Krystel’s Enchanted Baby Shower

February 19th in La Jolla, CA we celebrated our dear daughter, Everthyne Grayce, coming soon into this world. While I am in the world of event planning, I didn’t want to plan my own shower. I wanted to give a vision and then watch it come to life. Karina Gallivan of Couture Events planned the perfect pretty little shower at Brockton Villa with the help of Kaitlyn Sullivan and Nicole Perine (2 other best friends of mine).

Every detail was thought out and planned to perfection. We had an incredible brunch surrounded by beautiful creations from Posies Flowers, the flowers arrangements were wild and free.  Guests also had the chance to make their own flower crowns, each guest was provided with a crown of greenery and then they got to choose the flowers and put them on their crown. Michele Coulon made the delish macarons in shades of blush, peach, and orange. La Tavola’s brooklyn nude linen was the perfect canvas for this incredible tabletop. Minted invitations with gold foil foliage. The beautiful menus and place cards were made by Karina Gallivan. Cutest china and glassware provided by Not My Dish.

The photographer, Jessica Rice, is a dear friend and and incredibly talented. She captured every detail and also attended the shower!

And adventure we shall…

Every day, every step, every moment, together! We start this journey together and I will be there every bit of the way, my darling.

Insta iphone photo of our beautiful brunch.

Everything was so perfect and I am so grateful for my girlfriends that are more like sisters that have supported me every step of the way! So thankful for these woman and everything they are to me and now to our sweet Everthyne.

XO, Krystel
